As with all DK books the photographs and drawings are of an exceptional quality. The book does use only teenage models, and some of the colors are unflattering. Violent Earth presents remarkably illustrated and carefully explained coverage of geological disasters. Despite what others might say about Carlin's language, the man saw through the illusion and never stopped telling people how the world really worked. I returned this book, immediately upon receiving it and trying to play the songs out of it. The quality of the poems is excellent throughout the anthology and there is something to be said for the pleasure of the experience alone. The pictures were gorgeous and some I didn't realise were painted by Hokusai. Centuries old culture dropped in a night from over exuberance in victory. This in turn helps you identify untested code and improve the overall quality of your tests. I used this book to teach evolution to my 8th grade science students. part 5 of this adventure path.
