In case you were not aware, Mindy is a successful comedy writer.I did not find it thoughtful, or intelligent, or even amusing.It is an entire book of Mindy humble-bragging, name dropping and asserting her overall self assessed amazing-ness.I believe that she is well into her thirties, yet the book reads as though written by a 16 year old.This was dull, dry and obnoxious.. Jakarta Commons, etc.).So, while it contains some good information, I just cannot go over 3 stars due to the fact that moves in-and-out of the Java realm frequently. Smart and funny, she writes with an honest voice. This book gave her the opportunity to ask some questions about their trip and to better understand how special and important family visits are.. The narrator is fascinated with a girl who is convinced she is turning into a scarecrow. Being a physical education teacher, I was looking forward to getting some new ideas.
