Stephen Donaldson was born in 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. He now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Donaldson served two years as a conscientious objector doing hospital work in Akron, then attended Kent State University, where he received his M.A. in English in 1971. This inspired his fictional character, Thomas Covenant. Between the ages of three and sixteen he lived in India, where his father, an orthopaedic surgeon, worked with leprosy sufferers.

I love it!. Its text is well-researched and exceptionally thorough; during the 1980's, Bill Gunston was a prolific, well-recognized and published analyst, researcher, and writer on air combat. She can turn an average story about summer camp, to one where the main character (herself) falls off a diving board, bleeds upon hitting the water, and is told, by an older camp counselor, to never tell her parents about the situation. Anyone who is skeptical that birth can indeed be completely natural and ecstatic needs to read this! Do not be made uncomfortable by the title, this is not a gimmick. I’ve certainly enjoyed reading these words, and many poems I’ve gone back to read twice, or more than twice. One out of laziness to find something else. have not had a chance to read, but it looks very detailed and resourceful. It wasn't until my mid-20's, following the birth of my child, that I really felt sexually liberated. Reading the rest of the book is more annoying than amusing..
