The flashcards, highlighting, and other features are very helpful.. Fun!. Then they move to that time line and leave the rest of us behind. This is an extremely well-told story of a most unusual youth -- one Kueter spent hiding his Jewishness from the Nazis and from his neighbors in wartime Germany. I've read this and am familiar with it. My granddaughter loves them. Having just got a Kindle, I figured this would be an interesting read. The words are easy enough for a child to understand, and that's vitally important, especially if you are supposed to have faith like a child.. Giant book. But there's something about her that I found charming about her. He is good-looking, smiles a lot, helps her with training and is fun to be with. The book is thus extremely terse. He crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, went to Yankee Stadium and on to Washington Square. I found references in those books to this, so went in search of this book. The narrator is fascinated with a girl who is convinced she is turning into a scarecrow. This book is gold if you want to write macros or add-ins for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003.
