This allows the coloring artist's work to be more prominent than the black lines in the finished work. The author recommends fine pointed coloring implements and twistable fine point crayons for the most detailed results. This coloring book differs from most others in that the images are printed with lighter, finer lines than most. Just coloring the shaded areas dark, and the white areas light, no matter the color, will help the horse and background to "look right" and have a more three dimensional quality. I very strongly recommend this book to anybody who has ever struggled to be the best, and come away with the feeling of a job well done.
